COC's Park Will Be 20% Larger for 2012

For the last six years we have been expanding our on snow footprint as much as possible. Our park, that was already the largest summer park in the universe, is now going to grow another 20% for 2012. With this size addition we are now have double the size park that we had six years ago. All that extra size gives us price breaks that we pass on to you so that hopefully more people that couldn't afford COC before will now be able to.

Whistler Park Size Comparison

If you are comparing park sizes with other camps in Whistler, we have seven full park lanes and three half length lanes, three different on snow Air Bags (one off snow air bag), a 22' Global Cutter Halfpipe and spine, and over 40 features all serviced by our private lift sytem and a T-Bar. The other camp in Whistler has two mogul lanes and three park lanes, with two identical air bags. On one run you can hit three large jumps at COC or one large jump at our competition's park. Their slopestyle facility is less than half the size of COC's. Their mogul facility is way better than ours as we don't have one.

Every summer our goal is to make a camp that is more ridiculously fun than the year before. We do whatever it takes to make sure that that is what happens when you are here. Looks Like a Ski Camp - Must Be A Ski Camp

The reason Bobby Brown, Tom Wallisch and so many other top pros session at COC is because The Camp of Champions Snowpark is at least double the size of every park at Mt. Hood and triple the size of every other camp park in Whistler. With two handle tows you can do half laps and full laps without leaving our park, OR do full laps on the T-Bar that runs up the side of our park. COC campers get on the lift at 7:15 AM and are skiing by 8:00AM. We ski until 3PM. At Mt Hood you are on the snow at about 10:30AM and ski until 2:30PM. We don't take leisurely 1.5 hour lunches in the lodge like other ski camps in Whistler. We ride hard all day. The internet has helped make it easy for other camps to make it look like, in parents eyes, that their camp is the same quality as The Camp of Champions world class camp. When you look at their video's ask yourself why it's all on the one jump? Look around at the park when you press pause. How many features do you see in the background? At COC there is almost no "flat' ground in the park. How is their terrain groomed? COC grooms our park every night using two snowcats and a team of professional diggers. Other camps in Whistler are exclusively hand groomed by volunteers on a daily basis and machine groomed only once a week. If the quality of the park is important to you. At COC you are on snow, skiing, getting coached and learning for 3 hours longer a day than camps at Mt. Hood. Our system works. We've won three of four golds in Men's Snowboard Pipe at the Olympics. Six of the top seven finishers (we missed silver) in the 2010 Men's Olympic Halfpipe Event were camp alumni - former and current campers and coaches.
