Breakfast (included).
Every day begins with an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast at
21 Steps Restaurant,
one of our favorite places in town. Chauncey the owner is busy preparing the feast
from 6am in the morning and opens up exclusively for the Camp of Champions campers from 7am to 9am.
It's all-you-can-eat: Pancakes, waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit salad, different
cereals, juice and coffee. We are adding more granola and yogurt as per camper requests. Pretty much
anything you could ever want for breakfast. Unless you are Trulls from Norway. We tried to find
Lingonfisk, but we just couldn't get it. So if that's what you want for breakfast you are out
of luck. Hopefully the great atmosphere at
21 Steps makes up for it.
Breakfast is where you get your lift tickets so don't sleep in or you'll miss more than breakfast.
Lunch (included).
Lunch straight up rules at The Camp of Champions. It's good to re-energize for your afternoon session of riding.
John and Deanne, two Whistler locals who owned Ingrid's Deli since time began until a few years ago, prepare
the lunch fresh every morning for the snowboarders and skiers. Lunch is transported up to our facility on the
glacier by our staff. It's basically an amazing deli transported up the mountain so you can make your lunch
5 seconds before you eat it.
A huge selection of different breads, buns, tortillas, deli cuts, toppings and condiments await you.
It's served smorgasbord style so you don't have to drag a squished bag lunch up the mountain with you
everyday, like you do at other camps. Our lunch takes into account all diets. "Meatetarian, Vegetarian,
Vegan, PB and Jam, Only food that is blue" No matter what your lunch diet is we have you covered.
Lunch is at around 11:30AM at the giant COC/Billabong tent. So, make your masterpiece gourmet
sandwich, grab a (Canadian) chocolate bar, some chips and a drink, then chill. You'll be
energized for your afternoon session.
There is water and Gatorade available all day on the glacier so you don't have to worry about
getting dehydrated.
Mountain Bike Camp Lunch (included).
Lunch is at The GLC right at the base of the Boneyard. Check out the menu to get an idea of what goes down at lunch. The
food is great and the atmosphere is off the hook. You can watch people eat it in the park while you eat it on the GLC patio.
Dinner(not included).
Dinner in the evening is only thing that's NOT included in the camp price. We don't include this meal because
there are so many great places to eat in Whistler.
You aren't on your own for dinner though. Every day on our activity board at The Compound we have 5
different restaurants listed and the times that coaches are taking campers. You can hook up with
whatever group you'd like to eat with.
We keep a close eye on everyone, especially the younger campers to make sure everyone is eating right
and not just junk food. We have two staff members whose job it is to take the younger campers to dinner.
Just because you have to pay for dinner yourself doesn't mean you are by yourself.
the 6-10 is also stocked with healthyish food as well. Samosa's, Tandoori wraps, calzones, pizzas
and more so if you don't feel like heading down into the village to eat you don't have to.
Some coaches go for dinner and then to the Village 8 Cinemas for a movie. The
restaurants we list range from pizza, sushi, Mexican, Indian, Italian. No matter what you like to eat there is a crew
heading to somewhere you'd like. There is even a McDonald's. Pretty much every day there is a crew of
campers and coaches headed to Mongolie Grill, across from the movie theater.
Campers are allowed to go to dinner by themselves or with friends; they are not forced to go with our staff. Dinner is usually crews of campers going to their favorite places. "No child left behind" as GW Bush would say. Or "Never leave a man behind!" as the Marine Corps would say. The coolest thing is chilling in Whistler village after dinner. You see every pro you can think of doing the same thing as you. Chilling in town after a good day riding. Whistler Village is like one big outdoor mall, it's a really safe and compact environment.
Snacks (not included).
The 6-10 is open till 11 every night so you can get the late night snack without leaving The Dorm. The Dumken Donuts stand is open till 10PM
They have everything you need.
Dinner (not included).
Dinner is not included with camp, because with over 90 restaurants in the Whistler village including delis, cafes, diners, fast food, and fine dining covering everything from Japanese, French, Italian, Greek, Indian, and more, campers preferred to have the freedom to eat where they wanted and when they wanted. So every night our coaches will choose a select number of restuarants to go to and campers can choose to eat with any coach they like, at anay restaurant they like. Everyone is responsible for their own bill and you should plan on budgeting $15 - $25 CAD a night for dinner.
