Flying Here
If you are flying from one of the cities that Westjet services in Canada or the USA, we highly recommend that you fly with Westjet. In our 22 years of camp they have the only "Never lost a bag" record. Their on time arrivals and departures are the best as well. It's amazing how a lost bag can ruin a campers trip. So if you can fly Westjet.
Fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and we will transport you and your baggage in our privately chartered 52 passenger buses, directly to The Dorm. The resort of Whistler is approximately a 2hr 30min bus ride from the city of Vancouver, located in British Columbia, Canada.
The transport to Whistler is FREE for the camper, but you must arrive and depart
within our scheduled times. Please take time to read the important travel details below.
Send us camper arrival and departure details immediately after you get them.
Note the following:
- If the airline classes your child as an "un-accompanied minor" you may have to pay
the airline a fee for an escort at both end on both legs of the journey.
- The child traveling also may require a Notarized Permission Letter for Minors to Travel from both parents to leave the country.
- Make sure the child has the correct documents for travel, passport (or photo ID
& original birth certificate if you are from Canada). Make sure your child can be released to camp
staff in Vancouver Airport.
- There also may be issues if the parents are divorced. For instance, if the child
only has only ONE parent's written permission and not the other.
Each airline has different rules and regulations so please consult them directly.
