At The Camp of Champions we instruct all levels of riding, from lower intermediate and up. if you know the basics
before you arrive it helps, but it is not a prerequisite for the camp experience. Camp is all about progressing your riding.
Ability Level Rating
When you register for camp, we ask what ability level you're at. Our old system was not as detailed and diverse as our campers, so we stepped up our rating scale. The new scale rates abilities from levels one through to six and is far more descriptive.

drops.
Level 3
You can control your speed on single track trails, can ride mellow downhill trails and have experience on small table top jumps, drops and logs.
Level 4
You are comfortable controlling your speed on moderately steep single track
trails and downhill trails. Comfortabe hitting medium table top jumps and drops,
and would like to start hitting small dirt jumps and learning tricks.
Level 5

Am I Too Old or Too Young?
The youngest age we accept is 12 years old. The average age is 14-17 years old. We're also seeing more and
more adults coming to camp as they realize camp is even more fun when you are an adult and Whistler is twice as
fun when you are an adult. If you think "I'm too old to go to a camp" think again. It doesn't matter what your age is.
It's all about your attitude. Just by looking at this site we know you have the attitude. Come to camp, change your life.

Am I Good Enough For Camp?
Don't be freaked out by some of the photos and video clips on the site. They are all campers and coaches. We
just selected these to inspire you and show what's possible at Camp of Champions. Every one of our coaches is a dedicated professional. They all look forward to summer and they all love to
teach. There isn't one person on our coaching staff that isn't stoked to get on the hill, ride, and instruct campers all
day, rain or shine.
