ABILITY LEVEL

At The Camp of Champions we instruct all levels of snowboarding and skiing, except absolute beginners. You must be able to start, stop and turn. You need the basics before you arrive to get the most out of your camp experience. Camp is all about learning tricks. We do not have any non-park terrain.

Ability Level Rating

When you register for camp, we ask what ability level you're at. Our old system went as high as "ready to learn 540's" But more ad more camperr were ready to learn to spin 7's, 9's 10's, so it was time to step up our ability levels. The new scale rates abilities from levls one through to six.

Am I Too Old or Too Young?

The youngest age we accept is 12 years old. The average age is 14-17 years old. We're also seeing more and more adults coming to camp as they realize camp is even more fun when you are an adult and Whistler is twice as fun when you are an adult. If you think "I'm too old to go to a camp" think again. It doesn't matter what your age is. It's all about your attitude. Just by looking at this site we know you have the attitude. Come to camp, change your life.

Am I Good Enough For Camp?

Every one of our coaches is a dedicated professional. They all look forward to summer and they all love to teach. There isn't one person on our coaching staff that isn't stoked to get on the hill, ride, and instruct campers all day, rain or shine.
