There is a reason every ski town wants to be Whistler. There is a reason Whistler hosted the Olympics. Whistler Village is the best town in the universe for snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking. There is so much fun in the village that sometimes just chilling in the village square is the afternoon activity. You see so many famous names from the snowboarding, skiing and bike world that you'll feel like you are in a video or a magazine. Then one of them will come up to you and say, "What Up?" - It's one of the coaches. That's Whistler. That's camp. Hanging out in the raddest place with the raddest people.
The Whistler village is located right at the base of the mountain so you can jump off the chairlift, get changed at the dorm, then chill, shop, skate, eat dinner and watch a movie in the village. Imagine a giant outdoor mall packed with over 200 stores, including a ton of different snowboard, bike, ski and skate shops, over 90 restaurants, two skate parks, you have to drive to the third one, a dirt jump track, an 8 screen movie theater, and you’ll get an idea of how rad the village truly is.
Campers are free to roam around the village on their own, unsupervised (until curfew), because it's such a safe and compact resort. The village is pedestrian only, so everything is super close and convenient.
